NBC's Tuesday Night Crimetime Primetime

Is it me or has Tuesday night primetime become the night for detective, clue finding, shoot 'em up, bang bang, missing person/murder mystery, drama?

NBC seems to think so.

Tonight NBC kicks off primetime with Dateline NBC. Lately it's been all about catching a predator, as we the viewers get to sit in on this real-life stake out for internet surfing child molestors. I this show is great and hella entertaining! To watch the blood drain from these guys faces as they come to grips with the fact that their lives are over makes for great TV. Granted I havent caught every episode, I have yet to see any black men getting caught on that show.

Well whatever the reason this show serves a purpose. And this is one time I could care less about color or the fact that the black to white ratio is low.

Following Dateline is Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Law & Order has so many spin-offs it's hard to keep up. I have to admit I don't watch this particular one. Could it be because out of the 5 characters not 1 is black? No that's not it. In fact, just up until last year the show starred Courtney B. Vance. From what I understand he is no longer but I need a black or at the very least a latin replacement asaNOW!

And last but not least at 10 PM EST, Law & Order: SVU closes this primetime evening. As you already know from reading here this is one of my favorites.

Anyhoo, if you are not feeling the 2-3 hours of repeats of crime related drama series tonight there's always reality TV. Check out Fox's American Idol or CW11's The Search for the Next Doll if you are not feeling all this cop stuff.

I can't for Star Jones to get on and shake it up a bit.
