You want Fame? Well, Fame Costs!

Initially when I created this blog I wasn't going to focus on reality TV. I mean do we really enjoy watching our black people reveal on camera just how ghetto, stupid, angry, silly and ignorant we can be?

Hell to the......yea!

I dont know about you but give me a laid back Sunday and a good reality TV marathon of CW11's America's Next Top Model, VH1's I Love New York, MTV's Making The Band or Bravo's Being Bobby Brown and the next thing you know...it's Monday morning!

Interestingly enough though, one of the characters in my script is actually being followed by cameras, as he/she is the subject of a reality TV show. So one can get ideas from watching reality TV. And yes, some of them are enjoyable to watch. I repeat...some!

Last night, I watched CW11's 2-hours of cat fights, posing for the camera, dancing to the beat, hitting that note, walking "fierce" and just about anything these girls have to do to either be crowned America's Next Top Model or a Pussycat Doll.

I, for one, am still searching along with Tyra Banks for America's Next Top Model. After two black attempts(Eva and Danielle) and countless white fails....we have yet to find her. Will this be the season?

This season we had 6 hopefuls of the non-caucasian persuasion. Last week Kathleen's ass was sent home. I know she is black from Brooklyn but what is up with that accent?. I was raised in the bronx and so I know that accent very well. One can call it 'cha-cha'. If I had to define "cha-cha" I would say it's a spanish slang which kinds of mean ghetto in a way. Nonetheless...that chick is definitely cha-cha!

My bets are on Felicia or Whitney this year. Felicia because I realized yesterday she takes a mean photo. And Whitney might get it this year simply because Tyra is seemingly on one ole "I'm Bringing Fat Back" campaign. Who do you think have a chance?

If you missed it...check it out here.

As if watching these 13 girls compete for an hour wasn't enough. Right afterwards I sat through the encore episode of The Search for The Next Doll. Or as I see it, Making The Band 4. This contest is very similar to the MTV competetion and a friend of mine even pointed out that one of the girls competing actually was on Making The Band-Season 3. So tell me this? If you didn't have what it takes to make it to Danity Kane, do you really think you have what it takes to be a Pussycat Doll? Who knows? She might pull a J-Hud!

Of the 9 girls there are only 3 girls that I will even watch to see if win. Mariela, Asia and Anastacia. Marieal won't win because she can't sing and Anastacia reminds me of JLO(fly girl era). Asia is the darkest girl on here which leads me to beleive Robin Antin clearly didn't go to the hood looking for the next doll. But she did go there to get next week's guest judge.

Watch as the original Pussycat Doll of Hip Hop, Lil' Kim, joins the show.
