Keepin' it 'Real' Tuesday: Hell's Kitchen

Do you tend to watch more reality TV during the summer months while your favorite shows are in repeat?

Yesterday I stumbled on the third season premiere and second episode of Fox's Hell's Kitchen. And boy was it 'hot' up in that kitchen! Check out the trailer:

I watched for two hours as Gordon Ramsay, the tough World-Class chef from the UK, terrorized these kitchen newbies and I couldn't help but to laugh the entire time. Check out this clip of Aaron, the fat Asian wanna-be cook, who kept losing his faculty time and time again under pressure.

Ok...so now back to black! Thus far we have 3 black hopefuls competing for the prize. And a big prize it is!

I am already rooting for Julia. The short order cook from an Atlanta Waffle House. She keeps it real and while she may not have the experience like the others, I think she has a shot at winning. Rock is an Executive Chef from Virginia who seemingly have it all together. And lastly there's the chef's assistant from Michigan, Joana, who was the tough cookie that repeatedly had to put the white girls of the bunch in their place. I like her already!

While this is the third season, I have never caught an episode before. But after watching last night, I think I am hooked.

Hell's Kitchen can be seen on Fox on Mondays at 9/8c.
