Mo'Nique Don't Give a Damn About Bootz!

I am convinced that as long as we have reality TV, black people will always have a place to act a fool!



Yesterday was another sweltering day here in New York City so what better way to past the time than sitting under the a/c while watching a good ole VH-1 marathon of Charm School followed by the premiere of the renuion episode.


On the finale, Saaphryi won the prize of $50,000 and apparently spent a little of that money on herself as could be seen on yesterday's reunion. The weave queen looked good. Maybe it was her bangin' "lace front". (You had to watch the show to get that.)

But as always the 'bitch' of the show, Larissa "Bootz" Aurora had to be singled out and made the ratings magnet for the reunion episode. After telling Mo'Nique that she "is full of shit" to her face, Monique stepped up to her as though she was going to beat her ass. Mo'Nique quickly backed down and changed her tune to love and care for the misguided Bootz seconds after her heavy weight momma stepped on the stage. I dont know about you, but I was hoping for a good Suma wrestling match.

Most recently Larrisa was interviewed on the blogs and asked, "So why do you think Mo'Nique doesn't like you?"

Larissa had this to say:

Because I wouldn't share my life story with her, but why should I? Mo'Nique isn't a psychiatrist and I didn't feel it was necessary because I don't want all of America knowing my business. Charm School isn't a show to help the girls, instead it made us look like fools.

Do you know the first thing Mo'Nique said to us when we arrived? She told us we were a disgrace to Black women. They edited that out because there were White, Latin and Asian women there as well, but why choose to call out and embarass the Black women?

All in all the show ended with Mo preaching how black woman need to be more respectful to one another and avoided further confrontation. I really don't think Mo'Nique gives a shit about Bootz. But then again..why should she?
