The Gift of Gab Goes TV

The queen of radio talk will soon have a permanent fixture on your tube.

As reported by the New York Post, you can expect to see WBLS' Wendy Williams host her very own daytime talk show.

"It's basically a capsulized version of a lot of the stuff I do on the radio...We'll have everybody from Patti LaBelle talking about fashion, food and menopause to Beyonce, Jay-Z, Remy Ma and others celebrities."
Williams goes on to say that the show will in fact be shot in front of a live audience and that she will not have a sidekick (unlike her radio talk show). She also lets it be known that is not her first time down this path:

"In my 21 years in radio, Ive been down this [TV] road several times...but it never panned out."
While doing the show, Williams has no intentions of leaving her radio talk show. (Smart!)

The one hour long talk show is set to premiere late next spring. No word yet on what network the show will air.

For now you can continue to catch The Wendy Williams Experience on your FM dial. Check your local radio listings for times in your area.

She has a show on VH1 but it's not a daily talk show like this one is intended to be. Now you will catch her on a daily basis like...Oprah or Tyra. (These are only examples.)
