Are We Ready To Forgive The Clintons?

Yesterday we polled BONTV readers on whether they felt Hillary Clinton's speech at the Democratic National Convention fully supported Barack Obama.

60% of voters answered Yes.

Yes [ 60% ]
No [ 40% ]

Last night, President Bill Clinton took to the mic and podium where he not only supported Obama but drew comparisons between Obama and himself.

So after this speech, are we ready to forgive The Clintons for running such a dirty primary campaign against our beloved Obama?

I will forgive, but I won't forget. I think that the Clinton's are irrelevant in the Black community in the 21century.

'Splain Lucy.

The way I see it, the Clinton's are very relevant. Even if only as a benchmark in which the "change" that Barack speaks of applies to the Democratic party.

I think Hillary more than Bill is relevant to the African American human condition because her journey continues to mark the dissolution of traditional roles for people in this country.

She is an equal example of the "YES WE CAN" motto, personified. Hence why so many African Americans continue to support her.
