Gong Xi (Congratulations) to Jamaica for their track & field win at the 2008 Beijing Olympics over the weekend!
Usain Bolt, 21, set a world record and won the gold medal in the men's 100-meter run on Saturday. This feat marks the first time Jamaica has ever won a gold medal in the Olympics.
On Sunday, Shelly-Ann Fraser, 21, also brought home the gold medal for the women's 100-meter run. While her teammate, Sherone Simpson brought home the silver.
Now that the U.S. has crack down on the use of steroids by our track & field athletes, it has allowed Jamaica to finally sit on top. And rightfully so.
