Gossip Friday: Nene Sets Record Straight

TGIGF! Yes, Gossip Fridays are back and what better way to kick off it's return with some firing back from 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Nene Leakes on rumors that she was evicted from her home.

This week rumors circulated faster than a California forest fire on the net that Nene and her husband had been evicted from their rental home where the reality show was filmed. It was rumored that the couple owed $6200 in back rent forcing them to move to a new undisclosed address.

According to the NY Post, Nene has shot back in a statement posted on bravo.com. "Without wasting time on the details the only thing I will say is that we were NOT evicted."

Why am I not surprised by these rumors? After watching a few episodes of this show, I doubt any of those wives (with the exception of those married to pro-athletes) really had any money.
