Where does one even begin?

I was trying to avoid this topic but seeing as that NFL Giants team member, Plaxico Burress is clearly the most featured 'black on tv' this week, how can I?

After accidentally shooting himself in the leg in a New York City nightclub this past weekend with an unregistered pistol, Plaxico will face anywhere between 3.5 to 15 years behind bars in felony weapon charges.

To make matters worse, yesterday Plaxico received word that the NFL has decided to not only fine the athlete but he is also being banned from playing the rest of the season WITHOUT pay. Just so you know what this means in dollars and cents, Plaxico will lose:

- $823,529 in base salary for the four-game ban
- $400,000 in weekly roster bonuses
- $1 million portion of signing bonus due Dec. 10
- $27 million of $35 million contract signed in September (in the event he is cut after this season)

Anybody know what it would have cost Plaxico to hire a bodyguard for the evening?
