'Travel'ing With Viola Davis

This week I watched the 2-hour premiere of ABC's Traveler.

A few weeks ago I saw the pilot episode and I am not surprised nor mad that ABC decided to pick up this intense thriller/drama series. The show had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I felt as though I were watching a movie made for the big screen.

Viola Davis is the black cast member of this new series. She plays FBI agent, Jan Marlow, who is on the heels of catching two suspects of a NYC terror attack. Not much has been revealed just yet about this character other than that she is a tough cookie. As an FBI agent one would have to be I suppose. But she does have a sensitive side as she is seemingly the only one who believes the two suspects may be innocent.

This is not Viola's first time at the rodeo. In fact, Viola's is no stranger to the big screen as well. A short list of some of her works include Disturbia, Get Rich or Die Tryin' and Syriana.

I like this chick but I can't help but notice how much this character resembles that of this one. ABC are you criming from NBC? Shame on you!

You can catch Traveler on Wednesdays at 10/9c on ABC.
