Yes, we can now add Hot 97's deejay Fatman Scoop (and wife, Shanda) to the list of professionals on TV to give sex advice.
What started as a podcast, the show features Scoop and Shanda in bed as they give advice answering questions emailed by viewers on the topic of sex and relationships.
According to The New York Post, the seed for this show was planted back in 2006 when producers wanted Scoop to tackle risque questions of this kind that wasn't necessarily daytime-radio friendly. The show was to be called 'Pillow'. Two years later, MTV has snatched up the couple (and their bed) and now we have 'Man and Wife'.It also seems wifey, Shanda, wasn't always being considered for the co-host spot reveals Scoop:
"I was accepting applications for women to host the show with me, until I realized one night in bed that the woman that's in my face was the right woman for the job. And she's my wife, so I don't have to pay her!"
Ok..so how do we feel about getting sex advice from these two? Would black folk take them seriously? Especially when it comes to giving advice on the importance of safe sex?

'Man and Wife' can be seen week nights, Monday through Thursday at 11:00 PM EDT on MTV.
