The 40th Annual NAACP Image Awards

It's officially award season!

Tonight don't miss the 40th Annual NAACP Image Awards hosted by Halle Berry and Tyler Perry.

The awards ceremony will include performances by Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, Stevie Wonder and more. While Sean 'Diddy' Combs, Taraji P. Henson, Regina Taylor and Kerry Washington are confirmed presenters.

Former vice president Al Gore and Dr. Wangari Muta Maathai (both Nobel Prize winners) are set to receive the Chairman's Award. Hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons will receive the Vanguard Award and Muhammad Ali, the President's Award.

Although I have grown tired of televised awards ceremony (Grammy's, BET Honors), I'll make sure to set my DVR for this one.
