Ahhh...the never ending war against fat. How long would you say America have been in this war? Five years? 10? 15? Let's just say this war kicked off back in 1988 when Oprah clad in her size 10 Calvins pulled that little red wagon holding 67 pounds of fat.
Remember that? The 67 pounds of fat was the weight she lost having starved herself for four months drinking nothing but Optifast shakes. So that would mean we fat Americans have been in this war now for over 20 years.
Wow. I am willing to bet we have pumped more money into this war than any other war in U.S. history including the war in Iraq.
But anyhoo...I digress.
Kirstie Alley (the original Fat Actress), Valerie Bertinelli, Queen Latifah and as you already know, Phylicia Rashad is the latest to be enlisted in the Jenny Craig army.

Ugh! I love Claire Huxtable just as much as you do but I hate her (over)acting sometimes. This is an infomercial Phylicia! You can't be nominated for an Oscar for this! I am convinced she went to the same acting college with the likes Angela Basset or Alfre Woodard and scored an A in Black Over Acting 101.
Well despite her acting, will Phylicia be the first of the Jenny Craig fat actresses to really shed some pounds that will send fat women across the country to sign up? Or will we be bamboozled once again as another fat actress drops a mere third of what her true weight loss goal should be and then claim victory.
Only time will tell.

More than her over acting (although she gets a hall pass, cause she old school) I hate her covert bitchy-ness.
But this is a good look for her and her age group to promote healthy living amongst black boomers.
